Account Executive – Remote – $120k-$140k OTE (up to $80k base + $60k commission uncapped + equity)
Location: Must reside in New York City, or surrounding area

Now, we’re looking for a dynamic, driven Account Executive to expand our presence in the New York City area.

 

As part of a passionate and fast-growing team, you’ll play a key role in helping K12 educators access cutting-edge tools that inspire creativity and critical thinking in their students. You’ll travel frequently (up to 50% of the time) to visit schools and districts throughout the territory, meeting with key decision-makers and fostering relationships that lead to long-term partnerships.

 

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by engaging schools and districts throughout your territory. With the support of our Demand Generation and Sales teams, you’ll develop relationships with decision-makers and build a pipeline of opportunities, converting them into successful, long-term partnerships.

  • Investigate: Generate leads by connecting with schools and districts across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, exploring new opportunities and nurturing existing relationships.
  • Qualify: Assess leads based on their budget, decision-making authority, needs, and timeline to ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Achieve: Meet and exceed revenue targets, acquiring new school customers while benefiting from uncapped commission potential.
  • Act: Confidently pitch and close deals virtually and in-person, engaging key decision-makers at both the school and district levels.
  • Grow: Optimize the sales process through diligent pipeline management, activity tracking, and forecasting, ensuring consistent progress toward targets.
  • Think: Share insights and successes with the broader team, contributing to our collective knowledge and improving our sales strategies.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience: 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the K12 education or EdTech industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to clearly articulate the value of our products to educators and administrators.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Bonus: Experience as an educator or in a similar role within the education sector is a plus.
