This is role will own new business end-to-end — prospecting, running discovery with owners, CEOs, and plant managers, demoing a genuinely differentiated AI product, and closing. You're selling into an underserved market that already has more demand than we can serve, so the opportunity in front of you is enormous.
You'll build pipeline, run a disciplined process, and carry deals from first touch to signature. You'll spend time on shop floors understanding how manufacturers actually work, and you'll bring that insight back to shape how we sell and what we build. This is a high-activity, high-ownership seat for someone who wants to be early and win.
What You'll DoOwn the full new-business cycle, from prospecting and qualification through discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation, and close.
Build a healthy self-sourced pipeline through thoughtful outbound, referrals, events, and other creative channels.
Lead credible conversations with owners, CEOs, and plant leaders; understand their workflows and build a quantified case for change.
Run disciplined, multi-threaded deals with clear champions, decision criteria, next steps, and honest forecasts.
Spend time at customer facilities, learn how manufacturers operate, and bring those insights back to sharpen our product and go-to-market motion.
Help build the sales playbook as we scale, including messaging, qualification, deal reviews, CRM hygiene, and clean handoffs to implementation.
You have 3+ years of full-cycle closing experience, ideally selling SaaS or a technical product
You run a disciplined sales process (MEDDPICC or similar) and forecast honestly
You're a high-activity, self-directed pipeline owner who doesn't wait to be handed leads
You can hold a credible conversation on a shop floor and in a boardroom
You care about our mission, and you want to see the American manufacturing base get stronger
You're excited to work in person 5 days a week in NYC and to travel to customer sites across the US
You operate with a founder and growth mindset: hungry, coachable, and organized
Experience selling into manufacturing, industrials, or the ERP/MRP ecosystem
Early-stage sales experience, where you helped build the motion
You've sold a technical or AI product to non-technical buyers
You're constantly experimenting with AI tools to get more leverage out of your day
Revitalize an industry. Rebuild America's manufacturing backbone.
America builds satellites, jet engines, and semiconductors with world-class precision, but the software running factory offices is decades behind. Estimators, procurement teams, and accountants still lose hours to spreadsheets, PDFs, and manual data entry.
Forgepoint builds AI workers for back office departments like quoting, purchasing, invoicing, and sales coordination. By removing back-office bottlenecks, we help US manufacturers move faster, grow, and compete globally.
We're backed by a16z speedrun and angels from Brex, Xwing, and Betterment. Join us in rebuilding the digital foundation of American manufacturing.

Talk to users constantly: we build with manufacturers, not for them
Own outcomes end-to-end and drive solutions without waiting for permission
We're Here to Win: We are building to help American manufacturers, our customers, our company, and our teammates win at the highest level.
There's Always a Way: We are relentlessly resourceful, take ownership of constraints, and find a path forward when others stop.
Truth Over Comfort: We choose honesty over ego, surface reality quickly, and change course when the facts demand it.
Act Now: We move fast, trust our instincts, and correct course as we go.
Step Up: We act like founders, fill gaps, fix problems, and follow through until the work is done.
The Team. The Team. The Team.: We put the team first, push and support each other, share wins, and own failures together.
On-target earnings for this role: $210,000, plus the opportunity to receive meaningful early-stage equity ($15,000 per year) in Forgepoint. You'll also have great healthcare coverage, dinner provided at the office, and unlimited Celsius.
You'll be in our NYC office five days a week with the opportunity to travel and be on-site with customers across the US. If you're looking for a role where the real work happens somewhere else, this isn't it; if you want to be at the center of both the company and the customer, it is.
