Mimecast is looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our sales team based in Canada. The ideal candidate will be located in the Ontario region, specifically Toronto.

What You’ll Do:

  • Opportunity Development: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through direct prospecting and networking.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with Account Executives to understand customer requirements and deliver tailored product demonstrations.
  • Solution Design: Assist in designing customized solutions that address intricate client needs, showcasing Mimecast’s technical capabilities.
  • Pipeline Support: Support the sales pipeline by providing technical expertise during the sales process.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and customer challenges to provide valuable insights.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: Proven experience in new business and/or account management sales roles, preferably in IT, SaaS, or cybersecurity.
  • Channel Experience: Experience working with channel partners to co-sell and grow market share.
  • Sales Skills: Strong consultative selling approach to uncover needs, position value, and build trust with mid-market buyers.
  • Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of cybersecurity, SaaS, and cloud technologies. Familiarity with mid-market IT, security, and compliance buying processes.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel regionally (up to 25-30%) with a valid ID.
  • Hybrid Working Flexibility: Ability to commute to our Mississauga office as per our hybrid working model.

The Canada on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is 160,000 CAD - 240,000 CAD OTE + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire on target earnings for this position. This position may also be eligible for bonus, incentive plans, and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered. Final offers will reflect these considerations and may vary accordingly.
