Position Overview
The Finance Analyst will be responsible for managing accounting operations, statutory compliances, payroll compliance, and tax-related matters for the India entity. The role requires strong hands-on experience in Indian taxation, accounting regulations, and advanced MS Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping
- Perform ledger scrutiny and account reconciliation
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare financial reports and MIS statements
- Support statutory and internal audits
2. GST Compliance
- Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
- GST reconciliation and ITC verification
- Handling GST notices and departmental queries
3. TDS Compliance
- Deduction and timely deposit of TDS
- Filing of quarterly TDS returns
- Issuance of Form 16 / Form 16A
4. Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Payroll processing and verification
- Ensuring compliance with EPF, ESIC, PT, LWF (if applicable)
- Income tax computation for employees
- Coordination for payroll-related audits
5. Income Tax & Other Compliance
- Support in income tax filings and assessments
- Maintain compliance calendar and statutory records
Educational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Finance or Accounts
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, Payroll Compliance, and Income Tax
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data handling)
- Working knowledge of accounting software / ERP systems
- Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Skills Required
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting
- B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent degree in Finance or Accounts
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards
- Understanding of GST, TDS, payroll compliance, and income tax
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data handling
- Working knowledge of accounting software or ERP systems
- Analytical, organizational, and communication skills
