We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Corporate team, someone passionate about delivering excellent service, building strong client relationships, and taking a proactive, advisory approach. This role offers the opportunity to manage and develop an established book of business made up of long-standing clients, with strong support and regular face-to-face engagement.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, based in our Maidstone office, with travel required to meet clients.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop an established book of business, strengthening client relationships and identifying opportunities for organic growth
Lead renewal activity, ensuring a smooth and well-planned process that delivers the best outcomes for clients
Understand client requirements and present risks effectively to the market
Act as a trusted advisor, providing clear, timely guidance and resolving queries
Prepare high-quality market presentations, documentation, and submissions
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and key stakeholders
Monitor market trends and gather insight to support client solutions and proposition development
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across internal systems
Requirements
Strong experience managing commercial clients, with a focus on retaining and developing a book of business through trusted, long-term relationships
Confident communicator, able to build credibility and engage effectively with clients, insurers, and colleagues
Commercially aware, with the ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
Highly organised, able to manage priorities and oversee renewal activity effectively
Analytical with strong attention to detail, ensuring consistently high-quality output
Resilient and adaptable, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
Collaborative in style, working closely with colleagues and insurer partners to deliver the best outcomes
Able to travel and meet with clients in person
Qualifications
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
A Levels (or equivalent) – desirable
Dip CII – desirable
