About the RoleThe Account Director leads the strategic management of the overall account, management of the embedded and on call team members, and is responsible for ensuring timely and quality delivery across all service and project lines
What You’ll Do- Effectively managing the entire account team and ensuring quality service delivery
- Providing strategic counsel, managing, planning, and delivering results
- Providing high-level strategic plans and support across various functions at the marketing department
- Overseeing the account financial, operational, and logistical matters
- Attending high-level strategic meetings
- Setting objectives and KPIs for teams
- Conducting performance evaluations and giving feedback
- Identifying new opportunities for growth
- Demonstrate strategic thinking through development of integrated marketing campaigns
- Providing, reviewing, and vetting strategy documents as per marketing needs
- Set and exceed target sets for marketing campaigns and projects
- Manage the account independently and effectively own relationships with business units
- Responsible for management of monthly deliverables and reports
- Independently prepare for, drive, and manage follow up to regular client meetings
- Manage quality control and ensure client approvals are obtained on all appropriate activities
- Keep abreast of current affairs and industry trends
- Minimum experience of 15 years in Academia preferred
- Worked on strategic plans for enterprise accounts
- Proven track record in delivering successful international/national marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of the digital media and advertising industry
- An ability to work under pressure
- Cultural awareness, with required previous experience in MENA and Gulf
- Excellent planning and delivery abilities
- Organizational, writing, presentation, and mediation skills
- Ability to work and multi-task under pressure
