Coley Porter Bell is looking for an Account Director - FTC to join our London studio. Could this be you?

What you’ll do 

Client partnership:  

  • Cultivate and nurture long-term client relationships built on trust, transparency, and proactive communication. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses, competitive landscapes, and strategic objectives to provide tailored brand solutions. 
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and expand the scope of services. 
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and ensure alignment on project goals. 
  • Facilitate seamless communication between clients and internal teams. 

 

Project Management:  

  • Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, production) to ensure seamless project execution. 
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. 
  • Proactively manage risks and identify solutions to potential challenges. 
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders. 

 

Team administration:  

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and supportive team environment. 
  • Participate in internal meetings and contribute to agency initiatives. 
  • Manage and mentor junior team members (where applicable). 
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency. 

 

Training and development:  

  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. 
  • Actively participate in training programs and seek opportunities to expand skillset. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices. 

 

What you’ll need 

 

  • Proven experience in account management within a brand consultancy or related field. 
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. 
  • Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively  
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • A passion for branding and a deep understanding of brand strategy. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project management software. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Experience on FMCG and / or retail accounts desirable
