Northwest Respiratory Services is seeking an experienced Account Coordinator to help lead our Billing Office and take ownership of revenue cycle performance across an assigned state or regions. The Account Coordinator will operate as the leader of a regional billing pod and oversee the team responsible for Nursing Home Billing, Private Insurance/Medicaid, QA/Documentation, and CMNs (Certificate of Medical Necessity). The Account Coordinator owns the performance of their assigned State/Region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a regional Billing Office team
- Become the billing and reimbursement expert for your assigned state/region
- Manage Nursing Home Billing, Private Insurance/Medicaid, QA, and CMN workflows
- Drive third-party billing performance
- Monitor revenue, adjustments, AR, aging, documentation, and billing accuracy
- Establish employee productivity and quality expectations
- Coach, train, and performance manage team members
- Identify backlogs and problems before they impact customers or month-end
- Build relationships direct with nursing home customers
- Ensure customer concerns receive timely response and final resolution
- Partner closely with Sales and Operations
- Review high-risk accounts and invoices
- Identify residents who may qualify for third-party reimbursement and ensure the team actively works those opportunities
- Create structure, accountability, and measurable improvement within your assigned region

Compensation and Benefits:
- $60,000-$70,000 per year

Key Qualifications:
- Medical billing or healthcare revenue experience
- DME/HME experience strongly preferred
- Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurance knowledge
- Leadership, supervisory, or team-lead experience
- Experience managing KPI's and employee performance
- Nursing home or skilled nursing experience is a plus
- Brightree experience preferred
