Job Summary:
The Account Commercial Executive is a technical sales role and requires full accountability of the executive for the success of maintaining a long term and financially sound relationship with the customer accounts that are assigned to him or her.
The role requires efforts in establishing the potential in the assigned customer / territory and building the
business for extra revenue and solutions to create win-win situations in between customers and Diversey. It is a business management role, yet in essence it requires regular technical service to the customer, which may take 65% of time, to gain the role of an expert partner and to ensure results are delivered as planned.
The ACE will be expected to assess the potential and prioritize to build the business within current customers, or hunting new potentials, while ensuring the maintenance of the current portfolio with regular visits, creating the right relationships with the stakeholders, and delivering results through hygiene and operational efficiency.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Service the account to improve environmental profile of the customer, set up operational efficiency efforts, and optimize the Diversey portfolio to deliver hygiene results and the success of the customer for protection of its brand and safety of its guests and staff
- Work with other departments to ensure proper payment of the customer, ensure that products are delivered as planned and promised to the customer
- Conduct and/or deliver training to customers for improved hygiene operations at customer sites
- Create a customer loyalty and trust with good service, and deliver financial results for Diversey at the same time
- Roll out innovations of Diversey to customer to add further value
- Conduct visits to sort out problems / troubleshoot with respect to the topic of hygiene, environment, or operational effectiveness
- Create synergies with different levels and departments of a customer, i.e. From hotel maids to housekeepers up to GMs or regional executives of a brand.
- Analyse portfolios to implement changes to improve business results, while attaining or favourably also improving hygiene performance at customer site
- This is a direct, customer-facing sales role with responsibility to retain existing revenues and close new revenue opportunities with both existing and new customers.

- Proven technical sales or account management experience
- Ability to provide on-site technical service (approx. 65% of time)
- Experience building and maintaining customer relationships across stakeholder levels
- Experience delivering customer training on hygiene and operational procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot hygiene, environmental, and operational issues at customer sites
- Proven track record of retaining revenue and closing new business opportunities
- Analytical skills to review portfolios and implement changes to improve business and hygiene outcomes
