Account Analysts serve a dynamic role based on the core responsibility of servicing PIMCO’s clients. The primary responsibility is to support PIMCO’s client-servicing and sales professionals to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to our clients also partnering with PIMCO's other investment professionals. Within the role you will gather, analyse and discuss economic trends, support external reporting requirements, and deliver performance attribution analyses to Account Managers.

Account Analysts use computer applications to prepare detailed portfolio risk reports, accounting reports and other weekly, monthly and quarterly client reports as well as assist with various management initiatives and responsibilities.

This position requires an analytical, detailed professional who can:

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare client reports spanning performance, trading activity, portfolio valuation and risk metrics.

  • Continually building understanding of underlying market factors to complete more qualitative, complex investment analyses.

  • Effectively utilize tools such as Excel spreadsheets, macros, and query tools, along with internet sites, both public and private. Bloomberg and/or Yieldbook knowledge is a plus.

  • Support the Account Management team through the provision of market and portfolio data.

  • Analyse Portfolio data including qualitative and quantitative performance attribution.

  • Handle ongoing automation of growing reporting requirements and streamlining of the reporting process.

  • Produce ad-hoc client & internal requests for information.

  • Maintain a commitment to quality and attention to detail; ensure that all work is delivered completed, accurately, and on time.

  • Actively listen and ask questions to determine and meet customer needs; go beyond normal job responsibilities to indirectly satisfy the customer

Position Requirements:

  • Fluent in Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finnish  is  required for this role

  • 0-2 years of experience considered. Hiring level will be determined through the interview process

  • Preference for University degree with an emphasis in Finance and Economics or a related, quantitative/analytical field from an accredited, business school or university, or other equivalent Advanced Degree.

  • Progression toward a CFA (desirable not essential).
