Job DescriptionThe Access Control Officer is responsible for controlling and monitoring the movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and materials entering and leaving the facility, ensuring only authorized persons and items gain access.
Key Responsibilities
- Control access and egress of personnel and vehicles.
- Verify identification, access permits, passes, and authorization.
- Maintain accurate records of personnel entering and leaving the facility.
- Monitor visitor and contractor access.
- Conduct security checks in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor access control systems, gates, barriers, and related equipment.
- Report suspicious activities, unauthorized access attempts, or security breaches.
- Support personnel accountability and emergency mustering.
- Ensure restricted areas are accessed only by authorized personnel.
- Coordinate with security personnel during emergencies.
- Maintain confidentiality of security and personnel information.
- Prepare access control reports and maintain relevant documentation.
- Comply with company security, HSE, and emergency response procedures.

- 2–3 years' experience in access control, security, facility management, or a similar role.

- Basic computer and record-keeping skills.
- Security-related certification/training is an advantage.
- Valid offshore safety certification and medical fitness where applicable.
