Information Security Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Roles and Responsibilites
- Facilitate discovery sessions with key stakeholders to ascertain key initiative and staffing information.
- Develop detailed project plan outlining detailed task, owners, and dependencies
- Facilitate implementation of requirements, install required testing and business validation check points, and manage quality assurance / user acceptance testing (“QA/UAT”) cycles.
- Proficient in using JIRA.
- Escalate issues or roadblocks to appropriate levels of management as they occur in a timely manner
- Provide monthly and quarterly status reporting via JIRA to various reports that are replayed to senior management.
- Coordinate with other project managers and scrum master's on dependencies.
- Previous experience working in a financial firm and an understanding of business products and business processes a plus.
- Previous work in managing technical projects is a plus.
- Previous technical experiences a plus.
- Partner with the Fleet Delivery leads and the product owners to create effective and efficient squads.
