3D Rigging Artist

We are looking for a talented 3D Rigging Artist. Are you passionate about VFX, animation, Gaming, and creating rigging solutions for multiple platforms using offline rendering and real-time technology? In our team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing character rigs that allow for fluid and realistic animation. You will collaborate closely with animators and modelers to ensure that all assets are optimized for performance and artistic quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 3D Rigging Artist in animation or game development
• Advanced knowledge of Maya 
• Strong understanding of anatomy and movement principles
• Experience with Python
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A strong portfolio showcasing your rigging work
• Skills in agile methodology
• Able to work to both long and short deadlines and multitask
• Ability to prioritize production needs and tasks
• Ability to collaborate and offer solutions with great problem-solving skills

Nice to have

Experience working with Houdini, Blender, and other relevant 3D DCCs

English level

Advanced

Responsibilities 

• Supporting and enhancing current and future 3D and CGI workflows and pipelines
• Design/Testing/Documenting of future Tools and pipeline requirements in line with business needs
• Troubleshoot problems and implement solutions
• Review the code and offer constructive feedback
• Develop and maintain character rigs for a variety of projects, including games, films, and animations
• Collaborate with animators to understand their needs and ensure rigs facilitate expressive animation
• Create and optimize controls for easy manipulation by animators
• Troubleshoot and resolve rigging issues in collaboration with the animation team
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to enhance rigging techniques and workflows
