About the Role
We're building the next generation of autonomous mobile robots for warehouses and industrial environments and we need someone who can make that technology come alive visually. As our 3D Artist & Visualisation Specialist, you'll translate complex robotics concepts into stunning 3D concept art, product animations, explainer videos, and real-time simulations. This is a creative-meets-technical role sitting at the intersection of product, marketing, and engineering.
What You'll Do
  • Create 3D concept art for new robot products and features from sketches, CAD data, or engineering briefs
  • Produce photorealistic renders and product animations for marketing, pitch decks, and trade shows
  • Build 3D explainer videos from storyboard to final cut that simplify how our AMRs work
  • Develop VFX elements: motion graphics, transitions, particle effects, and cinematic sequences
  • Create assembly animations, exploded views, and technical walkthroughs for sales and customer education
  • Set up and manage lighting, materials, and texture pipelines for consistent visual quality
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure 3D content is technically accurate
  • Iterate quickly based on creative feedback from design, product, and leadership

Requirements
3D Modelling & Rendering
  • Proficiency in Blender and/or Autodesk Maya
  • Strong understanding of PBR texturing, lighting setups, and rendering workflows
  • Experience with render engines (Cycles, Arnold, or similar)
  • Ability to work with CAD-to-render pipelines
Animation & VFX
  • Solid grasp of keyframe animation and core motion principles
  • Experience with particle systems and simulations
  • VFX compositing and camera movement
Explainer Video Production
  • Storyboarding and visual storytelling
  • Motion graphics and title sequences
  • Basic video editing and post-processing (After Effects or similar)
Bonus Skills (Good to Have)
  • Unreal Engine is a especially for real-time robot simulation environments
  • Fusion 360 for CAD-to-render workflows
  • Houdini for advanced VFX and simulations
  • Familiarity with game-engine asset pipelines
  • Basic understanding of robotics or warehouse automation context
Who You Are
Degree in Animation, Design, Game Art, Visual Effects, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent self-taught experience
Strong eye for composition, lighting, and cinematic storytelling
Portfolio is Mandatory
Please share a portfolio that includes at least one 3D animation or explainer video. Work-in-progress and personal projects are welcome. we care about the quality of your thinking and craft, not just the final polish.
