2D Motion Designer

Taonga: the Island Farm is an immersive exploration and adventure game set on a colorful tropical archipelago.

What begins as a casual farming experience gradually evolves into a rich, multi-layered adventure. Players discover increasing depth through travel, story-driven quests, strategic battles, engaging mini-games, competitive events, and much more — transforming the game into a captivating midcore adventure with sophisticated mechanics.

Taonga was launched as a browser game in 2016 and became an immediate success, beloved worldwidely. With communities across different platforms, we entertain, delight and help our players to enjoy Taonga to the fullest.

We’re hiring a talented 2D Motion Designer to produce vibrant and engaging animations for Taonga marketing videos. You’ll be creating content for advertising campaigns, including animated characters, environments, and motion graphics, aimed at promoting the game across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Creating high-quality 2D animations, including character animation and sound design for game advertising

• Creating and supervising internal libraries and animation assets

• Working in accordance with technical requirements: guidelines, asset naming conventions, and other specifications

• Collaborating with artists and animators to deliver projects on time

• Suggesting improvements to enhance the visual quality of content

• Staying up to date with current trends and tools in 2D design, animation, and artificial intelligence

Requirements

• Genuine passion for gaming industry

• Minimum 2 years of experience in 2D design, animation, and game marketing

• Proficient in Spine and Adobe software ( After Effects, Photoshop, Animate)

• Is experienced with video animation AI Tools

• English proficiency at A2–B1 level
