Your role. 

Plante Moran is looking for a qualified intern to join our marketing team. The intern will work with our Wealth Management Marketing team to gain hands on experience with content marketing, demand creation and digital events marketing in a professional services firm for our wealth management practice. Your work will include, but not be limited to: 

  • Help to advance our content creation and publishing 

  • Helping with Wealth Management events (virtual or otherwise) 

  • Assist with updates and content posting to our website and for social media 

  • Help to develop ads for supported campaigns and events 

  • Conduct research on market segments, prospects, competitors or issues as requested in support of new business pursuits, marketing content development, and marketing strategy development 

  • Assist in developing presentations, meeting books, capabilities documents, and other collateral used in new business development 

  • Other duties as assigned 

 

The qualifications.  

  • Completion of three years of study in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field 

  • Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0) 

  • Moderate degree of creativity and latitude is expected 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills 

  • Ability to follow instruction and work as a team player 

  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook) 

  • Basic understanding of and interest in content marketing and social media 

This is a non-exempt position and may require work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.

Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO, IL, or MA. Please review the position location for the applicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range for their position, as compensation decisions are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer market-based starting salaries that are consistent across individuals within the same hiring group. This approach ensures fairness and reflects current industry benchmarks for entry-level talent.

The compensation range for this role in CO, IL and MA is: $24.00 - $27.00
