About the Program
Residents will spend time in a dynamic learning environment, engaging in theological training and practical leadership development that will serve as a foundation for their entire ministry career. In addition to classroom learning, residents gain valuable hands-on experience by serving in areas that match their passions and interests, such as Kids, Students, College, Missions, Worship, and Communications. This unique balance of education and real-world ministry prepares residents to lead with confidence, character, and a heart for the local church.
As a resident, you can expect to be:
- Trained with excellence in a classroom setting 3 days per week at our Reservoir (Brandon, MS) campus, covering practical ministry skills, theology, leadership development, and strategic church operations.
- Placed in real ministry roles 2 days per week, serving in rotations based on gifting, interest, and ministry needs at one of our metro campuses (Reservoir, Clinton, or Madison).
- Mentored by seasoned ministry leaders who invest in your personal discipleship, leadership, and spiritual health.
- Engaged in mission opportunities, both local and global, to expand your perspective and influence.
Upon completing your first year, you may have the opportunity to return for a second year, serving in a more specialized ministry role at one of Pinelake’s campuses while continuing your leadership training.

- Be at least 21 years old.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (additional education is valued).

What We Do
Pinelake Church is a Baptist multi-site megachurch based in Brandon, Mississippi. Its mission is to help people learn from Christ, live in Christ, and lead others to Christ, with a vision to see the state of Mississippi transformed one life-change story at a time. The church operates across multiple campuses and provides various ministries, worship services, and community support.
