Red Bull New York (“RBNY”) are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS) and one of the league’s ten original charter clubs. Founded in 1996, RBNY has competed in MLS since its inception. Purpose of this Internship
The purpose of this role is to support Sports Illustrated Stadium’s mission of delivering best-in-class live event experiences across sports, entertainment, and community programming. As part of the Stadium Events team, you will help win events, execute, elevate our fan-first environment, and ensure the venue operates at the highest standard. Your work directly contributes to building Sports Illustrated Stadium reputation as a premier destination for sports & entertainment.
This is an unpaid, for credit internship (proof that you will receive credit is required).
Job DescriptionPractical experience in the full lifecycle of event booking & execution, including prospecting & pitching to contracting and handoff to operations
Basics of evaluating event evaluation, negotiating terms, managing calendars, and partnering with promoters, agencies, rights-holders, and internal stakeholders.
Develop a strong understanding of venue economics, technical requirements, risk assessment, and the broader live entertainment and sports landscape
Relationship building and strategic sales planning
Develop and deliver venue pitch materials and tracking documents
Market trends & industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
QualificationsA current college student or recent graduate with an interest in sports, live events, entertainment, or venue management.
A strong communicator who feels comfortable interacting with internal teams and external partners
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks
Proactive problem solver who takes initiatives and is excited to contribute wherever needed
Curious, coachable, and open to feedback, with a desire to develop new skills
