WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE

Our Legal Department intern is hired for a 10-week immersive experience in which they will gain exposure to a wide range of functional areas of legal service within Blackstone portfolio companies and Revantage. During the internship, individuals will receive training and work on a variety of projects that directly impact the business. Summer interns are immediately a part of our collaborative culture and build enduring relationships with lawyers and paralegals in the legal department, other Revantage teammates and their assigned mentor. Summer interns also have the opportunity to network with various professionals through organized social events. This position is based out of Revantage’s headquarters in Chicago, IL.

Our 2025 summer internship program will begin June 2025 and last through August 2025. To be eligible, you must have completed your first year of law school during the time of the internship program and be local to the Chicago area. 

HOW YOU ADD VALUE

  • Provide support to lawyers and paralegals in the Legal Department
  • Conduct basic research into a variety of legal issues, as requested by and under the supervision of attorneys
  • Assist with drafting contracts and other legal documents under supervision of attorneys
  • Assist team with documenting process improvements
  • Assist with project coordination efforts for legal operations functional lead
  • Special projects as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Required:

  • Current first year law student at an ABA accredited law school at or near the Chicago area (graduating 2027)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 and top-half of class
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent customer service, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities
  • Ability to work in Chicago in a full-time capacity for 10 weeks, beginning in June of 2025

Base Compensation Range:

$25.00 To $30.00. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company’s base compensation range for this position. Actual base compensation range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
