Summary of Job Duties:
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Enrollment Management, this position supports the development and implementation of summer camp curriculum and programming initiatives. Responsibilities include curriculum design aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), coordination of summer program logistics, development of marketing and communication materials, and facilitation of planning efforts through committee leadership.
This position includes year-round responsibilities supporting summer programming initiatives.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Job Duty 1
Title: Curriculum Development & Program Planning
Percentage: 40%

• Build and maintain camp binders for all programs

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education (relevant experience equivalencies might be considered)
  • Admission to and enrollment in a graduate degree program in STEM, Education, or other related field. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate program in Education, STEM Education, Higher Education, Organizational Management, or related field
  • Experience developing curriculum and/or lesson plans
  • Familiarity with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
  • Experience with educational programs, camps, or outreach initiatives
  • Experience creating marketing or promotional materials

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)
