As a Senior Safety Engineer at Micron, you will join an extraordinarily talented team dedicated to crafting perfect safety solutions in our brand new facilities in Taiwan. Your contributions will help resolve our success in maintaining the highest safety standards and successfully conducting powerful safety measures.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and rigorously make sure safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments and implement confirmed mitigation strategies.
- Lead safety training programs to educate employees on standard methodologies and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Supervise and evaluate the efficiency of safety programs, making continuous improvements as vital.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Validated experience in safety engineering, with a strong background of successful implementations.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate efficiently across diverse teams.
- Detailed understanding of safety regulations and standards.
- Ability to contend in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment while maintaining a focus on safety and quality.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety engineering role, preferably in the technology or manufacturing sector.
- Certification in safety management, such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or similar, is helpful.
- Validated experience in leading safety initiatives and driving continuous improvement.
