Your missionThe Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing retail activation initiatives that drive brand visibility, shopper engagement, and commercial performance. The role works closely with Marketing, Sales, and external partners to ensure best-in-class in-store execution, effective promotional activation, and continuous optimization of investments across channels.
Activation Strategy & Planning
- Build and manage the annual activation calendar in line with brand priorities and commercial objectives.
- Translate brand strategies into retail-relevant activation programs that support category growth, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and shopper engagement.
- Adapt activation plans to different channels, customers, and retail environments to maximize impact and relevance.
- Ensure timely and effective execution of all planned activation initiatives.
In-Store Execution Excellence (Perfect Store / RISE)
- Define, implement, and monitor Perfect Store standards, execution guidelines, and KPIs.
- Drive rollout, adoption, and consistent application of execution standards across field teams.
- Monitor compliance and identify opportunities to improve execution quality at the point of sale.
POSM & Visibility Management
- Execute POSM strategies and recommend visibility solutions based on global retail guidelines and brand objectives.
- Manage the production, deployment, and tracking of POS materials and retail visibility assets.
- Optimize visibility investments by balancing business impact, feasibility, and cost efficiency.
Field Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales teams to ensure flawless execution of activation plans across customers and channels.
- Provide field teams with tools, materials, guidelines, and activation support.
- Coordinate with Marketing teams to ensure consistency of messaging and content across all retail touchpoints.
- Collaborate with eRetail and eCommerce stakeholders on digital shelf initiatives and retail media activities where applicable.
- Monitor execution quality, compliance, and implementation effectiveness in the field.
Activation Performance & ROI
- Define and track activation KPIs, including visibility, compliance, execution quality, and promotional effectiveness.
- Analyze results, generate insights, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Recommend actions to optimize activation effectiveness and maximize commercial impact.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Sales, or Marketing would be an advantage
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and transform insights into actions.
- Excellent communication skills.
