Lead drainage design and hydraulic modeling for rail projects using HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS/HY-8/CivilStorm. Design stormwater systems, culverts, channel improvements, and erosion control; perform floodplain assessments and support FEMA/USACE permitting; prepare drainage reports and plans; ensure QA/QC; collaborate with clients, railroads, and agencies; mentor junior staff.

Serve as the on-site primary project administrator supporting the resident engineer and field staff. Manage project documentation (submittals, RFIs, progress reports, pay estimates), coordinate contract administration, supervise field clerical staff, assist with change orders/claims, and act as liaison between inspection teams and contractors to ensure accurate records and smooth project execution on rail and transportation projects.

Lead daily operations of the design group, supervising engineers and designers, managing plan production, schedules, budgets, QA/QC, staffing, and proposal support. Oversee financials, resource planning, and strategic growth while collaborating with leadership and supporting client engagements. On-site at Orange, CA headquarters.

Provide operational support for rail/transit construction projects: manage document control, contract administration, RFIs/CWPs, JHAs, Dig Alert tickets, ROE and track allocation, DIR audits, shared inbox, monthly updates, and accounting encumbrance/task order tracking to support the project manager and stakeholders.
