Hands-on Instrumentation & Controls engineer responsible for producing I&C deliverables, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, performing QA/QC, mentoring staff, and managing small or single-discipline projects. Duties include progress reporting, design reviews, generating proposals, building engineering budgets, completing invoicing, and using process simulation tools. Role requires independent execution with supervisory guidance and occasional site travel.

Manage engineering and construction project execution including proposal scoping, client and vendor communication, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, resource coordination, accounting/reporting, QA of deliverables, and escalation to leadership. Perform mechanical design and sizing for heavy industrial and oil & gas projects: datasheets, specifications, hydraulic and pump sizing, BOMs, 3D modeling and isometric reviews, CAESAR II stress analysis and reports, construction drawing review, site walkdowns/as-builts, RFI and bid/package support, cost estimating, and acting as Engineer-of-Record while mentoring junior staff.

Design and produce electrical and instrumentation drawing packages in AutoCAD/3D, coordinate with engineers and disciplines, perform electrical and I&C calculations, create schematics, BOMs, and construction drawings, and update drawings per engineer comments.

Lead and supervise Gulf Coast engineering team, provide QA/QC and engineer-of-record oversight, develop department standards and resourcing, create project budgets and schedules, support business development, mentor staff, and ensure deliverables meet client and company expectations.

Perform mechanical design and equipment sizing for heavy industrial and oil & gas projects.
