Own and advance a portfolio of greenfield geothermal projects from site identification through permit, interconnection, and pre-construction. Manage schedule, budget, risk, land rights, permitting, third-party consultants, stakeholder engagement, commercial diligence, and cross-functional alignment to accelerate project delivery.

Paid summer internship supporting geothermal exploration and operations. Tasks include research, data organization, reporting, internal tools, cross-functional collaboration, and a defined summer project with a final presentation. Exposure to a climate tech startup and mentorship; potential path to full-time role.

Develop and productionize scientific ML surrogate models and decision systems for geothermal exploration. Prototype, benchmark, and harden ML approaches (e.g., physics-informed, transformers, diffusion, operator learning) and build multi-step POMDP-style planning and RL-based policies. Collaborate with geoscientists and engineers to integrate models into production software and decision workflows.

Lead and continuously improve EHS programs across field and operations by building a proactive, data-driven safety culture. Own EHS management systems, incident investigations, audits, inspections, KPI reporting, corrective action closure, training, environmental compliance, and field coaching. Drive dashboards for leadership, support emergency response, and ensure OSHA-compliant recordkeeping while managing multiple sites and EHS personnel.

Support partner-led geothermal projects from exploration through development readiness. Lead design and optimization of surface piping, pipelines, and pumping systems; produce and review PFDs/P&IDs and construction packages; evaluate corrosion/scaling impacts; coordinate vendors, EPCs, and cross-functional teams; support pump selection, commissioning, and O&M best practices to improve reliability, availability, and power output while prioritizing safety.
