Teams at Zanskar Geothermal & Minerals, Inc.

Supports the Head of Finance with financial modeling, valuation, capital allocation, financing, and deal-structure analysis for geothermal projects. The role evaluates project economics and portfolio investments, develops complex infrastructure finance models, and supports the structuring, negotiation, and execution of debt and equity transactions. It requires cross-functional collaboration with development, exploration, and land acquisition teams, along with clear communication of financial impacts to non-financial stakeholders.

Manage strategic partnership and government-funded projects from planning through execution. Coordinate cross-functional teams, partners, vendors, and consultants; track schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, reporting requirements, cost share, invoices, and deliverables. Facilitate meetings, document decisions, prepare executive updates, support DOE and DOD grant administration, and improve project-management systems and workflows. The role requires strong organization, communication, ownership, and the ability to create structure in an evolving startup environment.

Serve as Zanskar’s first in-house legal leader and trusted advisor to founders and executives. Manage corporate governance, financing, project development, commercial contracts, public policy, employment, intellectual property, compliance, real property, and regulatory matters. Support project bankability, negotiate critical agreements, oversee outside counsel, and build scalable legal processes. The role also emphasizes AI and automation, practical risk management, and legal-function development within a growing geothermal energy company.
