A 10-week legal fellowship serving as a Child Advocate for immigrant children. Fellows advocate for individual children, communicate with stakeholders, conduct legal research and writing, draft best-interests determinations, and support policy advocacy. The fellowship includes training and travel to Young Center offices in Harlingen and New York. Applicants must be rising second- or third-year law students with a valid driver’s license and access to a car.
