Processes applications for low-income support services, interviews clients, assesses needs, determines eligibility, coordinates community resources, maintains household records, performs data entry, supports reporting, conducts energy assistance outreach, and gathers statistics for agency, state, and federal reports.

Supports congregate and home-delivered meal programs for senior citizens. Responsibilities include preparing and cleaning meal sites, receiving and inspecting deliveries, delivering meals as needed, coordinating and training volunteers, organizing activities, handling scheduling and cancellations, and assisting with intake forms and assessments. Requires accurate work, communication skills, independent judgment, a valid Florida driver license, vehicle operation, and background screening for work with vulnerable populations.

Lead and oversee ERSEA and PFCE service areas, supervising supervisors and staff to ensure compliant eligibility, enrollment, attendance, and family engagement systems. Develop policies, manage budgets, monitor data and outcomes in ChildPlus, build community partnerships, and ensure staff training and performance. Provide strategic direction, conduct site visits, and ensure alignment with Head Start Performance Standards and federal/state regulations.

Lead and oversee Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, Attendance (ERSEA) and Parent, Family, Community Engagement (PFCE) service areas. Provide strategic direction, supervise ERSEA/PFCE supervisors and staff, ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, manage data in ChildPlus, monitor outcomes, oversee budgets and MOUs, support training/onboarding, conduct site visits, and coordinate community partnerships to connect families to services.

Provide administrative and client support for Senior Services: phone intake, data entry into statewide databases, billing, supply and donation management, congregate meal site assistance, community outreach, recordkeeping, and vendor log review while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Provide substitute support in Head Start/Early Head Start centers, covering classroom instruction, meal service, and center aide duties. Supervise children, deliver age-appropriate activities, maintain safety, cleanliness, and USDA meal documentation, drive for pickups/deliveries, complete required trainings and certifications, and participate in team and community activities.

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations of Head Start/Early Head Start classrooms, ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations, training and coaching staff, managing documentation (including Teaching Strategies Gold and ChildPlus.net), coordinating substitutes, supporting family engagement, and overseeing health, safety, and licensing requirements.

Provide classroom coverage for Early Head Start/Head Start roles, deliver developmentally appropriate activities, maintain safety and cleanliness, follow Head Start policies, participate in trainings and community engagement, and support families. Duties vary by assignment length.

May travel between centers.

Provide behavioral support and mental health services for young children: administer screenings, conduct observations, implement individualized behavior interventions and Classroom Behavior Plans, train and consult with staff and families, maintain confidential records in ChildPlus.net, and ensure compliance with Head Start and state/federal requirements.
