Supervise and mentor assigned children, teach basic reading using SIPPS and Making Meaning curricula, implement program activities, maintain safety and cleanliness, manage paperwork, and run the YMCA Reads! program when coordinator is unavailable.

Oversee daily operation of an after-school program: supervise staff, plan and run age-appropriate activities, maintain records and safety procedures, manage fees and attendance, ensure compliance with YMCA, school board, and state licensing requirements, and support staff development.

Provide youth sports instruction and officiating for YMCA programs, manage equipment and site setup/cleanup, enforce rules and YMCA values, support volunteer coaches, ensure safety by inspecting equipment, complete required trainings and certifications, and maintain positive relationships with participants and parents.
