Teams at YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne

Coordinates teen programs at the YMCA by developing program guidelines, managing and delivering activities, organizing events, tracking participation and outcomes, supporting marketing and participant communications, and responding to questions or concerns. The role requires strong communication, supervision, organization, flexibility, recordkeeping, and relationship-building skills, along with a high school diploma and authorization to drive a bus.

Lead an after-school childcare program for elementary students by creating a safe, nurturing environment, implementing age-appropriate activities and curriculum, supervising children and staff, communicating with families and branch management, and serving as the site liaison to the Child Care Services Director.

Paid YMCA workforce development cohort for high school juniors and seniors. Participants complete career-readiness training, mentorship, professional workshops, and at least 250 program hours while rotating through health and wellness, youth development, and member experience tracks. The program provides hands-on work experience, an industry-recognized credential, networking opportunities, and leadership, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and customer service skills.
