Design, build, and optimize scalable backend systems for an ads management platform on cloud (primarily AWS). Develop product features and internal tools, maintain core platform reliability and performance, and collaborate cross-functionally with US and Japan teams. Use agentic AI-assisted development practices; work early JST hours Tue–Fri and participate in occasional in-person meetings.

Lead data science for Yahoo Mail subscriptions: analyze acquisition, conversion, pricing, retention, and churn; design and analyze A/B and multivariate experiments; build predictive and clustering models; partner with product, engineering, design, and business teams to deliver data-driven growth and monetization insights.

Build and maintain performant frontend components and pages using React and Next.js; consume GraphQL APIs via Apollo; implement accessible reusable UI aligned to Yahoo UDS; write tests and support CI/CD; optimize frontend performance; own features end-to-end and collaborate with backend, design, and product teams.
