Audit, rebuild, and maintain CAD models, assemblies, drawings, and PDM data so they accurately reflect boat production. Work directly with the shop floor to resolve discrepancies between design intent and manufactured parts, support rework and manufacturing with technical documentation, and collaborate across engineering teams. After stabilizing existing CAD data, contribute to the design and detailing of X Shore’s next-generation boat platform.

Develop and maintain embedded C firmware for electric boat control units and Python tooling for diagnostics and test automation. Work with CAN and NMEA 2000 communication, Linux gateways, hardware bring-up, debugging, field issues, build and flashing tools, and production testing. Build test benches and rigs, verify software on real hardware and boats, document interfaces and diagnostics, and support reproducible releases. The role requires hands-on ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and regular on-site work in Nykoping.

Leads mechanical engineering and structural analysis for electric boats, owning FEA, CFD, CAD releases, validation testing, manufacturing readiness, technical documentation, failure analysis, supplier development, certification support, and a small engineering team. The role requires hands-on analysis, design approval, engineering standards, and ensuring safe, manufacturable products reach production.

Build and launch X Shore’s prototyping and testing department from an empty warehouse. Responsibilities include managing contractors and facility fit-out, defining workshop layouts and equipment, recruiting technical teams, establishing processes and safety standards, managing budgets and timelines, and leading daily prototyping and test operations. The role is hands-on, full-time onsite in Nykoping, and requires fluent Swedish and English plus boating enthusiasm.

Consolidate electrical documentation, support procurement and factory production, resolve HV/LV design and harness issues, release engineering changes, and help develop X Shore’s next-generation electrical architecture for boats. The role collaborates with mechanical, software, production, and procurement teams and is based on-site in Nykoping.

Own the customer-facing software stack across an onboard React interface, iOS and Android mobile app, cloud services, telemetry platform, APIs, and backend systems. Operate deployments, monitoring, security, remote fleet access, and customer-facing services. Collaborate with embedded teams on boat-to-cloud data flows, test interfaces on real boats, document systems, and ensure reliable production operation.
