The COO partners with the CEO to build scalable, mission-aligned operating systems across IT, Finance, HR, and Legal. Responsibilities include operational design, financial oversight, governance, risk management, cross-functional alignment, strategic execution, and developing senior leaders to enable global prize programs and organizational growth.

Manage and expand XPRIZE partnerships and impact measurement across multiple prize programs. Develop impact frameworks, lead quantitative and qualitative research, build KPIs and dashboards, secure strategic partnerships and agreements, maintain partnership pipeline in Salesforce, and support donor-facing impact communications and operational efficiencies.

Senior communications leader responsible for global earned media strategy, executive and crisis communications, prize lifecycle messaging, and donor-facing narratives. Builds communications infrastructure, manages agency partnerships and budgets, integrates owned and earned content, and positions XPRIZE in key media and philanthropic conversations to drive awareness and fundraising.

Lead and operate the Energy Efficient AI XPRIZE: define technical metrics, validate energy/performance claims, manage judging and on-site audits, oversee budget and partnerships, recruit teams, and represent the Prize publicly to drive 10x AI inference energy-efficiency breakthroughs.
