CEO Sukhinder Singh Cassidy has more than 25 years of experience as a CEO, digital leader and board member and held roles at companies like Google, Amazon, Upstart and StubHub in addition to founding the online shopping platform, Joyus. With a bachelor’s degree in arts, business administration and management from Western University in Ontario, Canada, she served on the boards of Ericsson, Tripadvisor, Urban Outfitters, Stitchfix and J.Crew.
In an interview with Forbes Australia, Cassidy described how she has navigated her career journey so far, sharing that small risks — and overcoming challenges — have been fundamental to her success. “I think I’ve had more failure than the average person,” she said.

Claire leads Xero's global financial team, driving financial outcomes, managing the business’ financial performance and balance sheet, along with communicating Xero’s strategic and financial priorities to stakeholders, including investors. Claire is an experienced global and listed technology and software company executive with a strong track record in the technology and finance sectors for more than 25 years across the US, Europe and the UK. Claire holds a BSc in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Loughborough, Loughborough, UK. She is a Fellow and Chartered Accountant from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Diya Jolly joined Xero in 2023 as a chief product officer. Prior to joining Xero, she held various roles at different companies, such as chief product officer at Okta, vice president of product management at Google and senior product manager at Microsoft.
In 2024, Jolly was promoted to chief product and technology officer at Xero, tasked with leading product management, product marketing and user experience globally. In a statement, CEO Sukhinder Singh Cassidy described the impact Jolly has had on the company, sharing, “Diya’s leadership across product and technology has deepened the cohesion between the functions, improved the team’s ways of working, and increased the pace of our product delivery to help us better serve our customers.”

Jeff is responsible for leading Xero’s people experience function globally. He is an established global technology and software human resources executive, multi-time Chief People Officer, board member and advisor with more than 25 years’ experience. His experience includes Chief People Officer positions at McAfee, Zynga and GoPro. Jeff holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Sociology from UCLA. Jeff is a US-based executive, but spends much of his time in Xero's offices in Australia and New Zealand and around the world.

Angad Soin joined Xero in 2021 as an executive general manager before being promoted to global chief strategy officer in 2023. With a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Technology Sydney, he previously held various roles at Deloitte, where he worked with global clients to help them develop strategies related to pricing, transformation and more.
In 2024, Soin was promoted to his current dual role as managing director of Australia and New Zealand and global chief strategy officer. “I’m excited to lead this strategically important region for Xero and continue to drive growth while deepening our customer relationships,” he shared in a statement.

Chief Marketing Officer Michael Strickman is in charge of driving Xero’s direct customer and partner activities, growing its reputation and deepening its connection and engagement with customers and communities. With more than 20 years of global marketing experience, he has held various positions at multiple companies, including vice president of performance marketing and growth at Uber and vice president of traffic acquisition and measurement at Tripadvisor.
Strickman holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Brown University. Between 2001 and 2011, he served as chief technology officer and co-founder of ChoiceStream, an online personalization and programmatic advertising provider.

Damien is a legal and governance professional and leader with more than 20 years’ experience advising senior management and boards. Prior to joining Xero, Damien was Company Secretary and Deputy Group General Counsel at Telstra. Damien holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University. He is a fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
