Develop and deploy scalable, production-ready AI and machine learning models for protein, antibody, and broader drug discovery. Collaborate with AI scientists, engineers, and drug discovery experts to translate research concepts into robust systems, support large-scale model training, and deliver measurable impact in life sciences and healthcare.

Develop and execute ligand-binding and flow cytometry assays supporting PK, PD, receptor occupancy, and target engagement studies for biologic programs. The role includes assay development, qualification, and validation; analysis of NHP and rodent samples; DMPK and bioanalytical study support; data interpretation and documentation; and presentation of findings to internal teams and external CROs.

Develop and apply deep learning models for protein and antibody structure, sequence, and property modeling. Train and evaluate GPU-based models using PyTorch, contribute to computational protein design research, analyze biological and biophysical datasets, document findings, and communicate progress with interdisciplinary scientists and engineers.

Lead development and scaling of in vivo CRISPR screening in mouse models, innovate experimental workflows, partner with computational/AI teams to analyze large functional genomics datasets, ensure data quality and reproducibility, manage multiple projects, mentor junior staff, and drive cross-functional collaborations to advance therapeutic discovery.

Develop and advance state-of-the-art deep learning methods for protein and antibody design. Lead projects on generative and foundation models, implement large-scale distributed training and GPU-based inference, collaborate with biology and drug discovery experts, publish and communicate research, and contribute to open-source efforts.

Perform and optimize Illumina NGS workflows (MiSeq/NextSeq/NovaSeq) and 10x Genomics library preps for single-cell, bulk RNA, CRISPR assays. Design sequencing strategies, partner with cross-functional teams, maintain instruments and data QC, implement automation and LIMS/ELN recordkeeping, and evaluate emerging sequencing methods.

Lead end-to-end phage display campaigns including library design, panning, and hit validation for soluble and membrane protein targets. Optimize selection strategies, troubleshoot antigen production/presentation, run affinity and functional assays (FACS, ELISA, SPR adaptations), scale data generation with computational partners, mentor junior staff, and document technical results.

Build backend systems, APIs, SDKs/CLIs, and workflow orchestration that connect generative AI models to biological tools and datasets. Develop tool-calling infrastructure and agentic interfaces, ensure observability and robust testing for long-running scientific workflows, and collaborate with scientists and platform teams to turn research workflows into production software.

Manage end-to-end payroll for US and UK employees, ensuring accurate, timely pay and compliance. Reconcile payroll registers, process hires/terminations, handle LOA calculations, tax filings, and year-end reporting. Administer expense reimbursements and corporate card programs, maintain payroll systems, support month-end close and audits, and drive process improvements and internal controls while partnering with HR and Accounting.

Manage cross-functional, high-priority research programs at the intersection of ML and biologics. Build and maintain timelines, define milestones and decisive experiments, coordinate stakeholders, track risks and resources, run meetings, and support decision-making and contingency planning to keep agentic AI and biologics R&D programs on schedule.

Build and operate ML infrastructure for large-scale biological foundation models: dispatch distributed training across multi-cloud GPU clusters, deploy high-throughput storage, implement evaluation and experiment-tracking tooling, and integrate training with telemetry and checkpointing systems.
