Provide administrative and customer service support to the field operations team: process invoices and work requests, maintain spreadsheets and reports, track credentials, order supplies, assist with project-related tasks, and perform occasional fieldwork and travel including vehicle operation and inspections.

Lead and conduct biological field surveys, monitoring, impact analysis, permitting support, and technical report preparation. Manage projects, perform wetland delineations, special-status species and botanical surveys, construction monitoring, GIS-based analyses, and provide technical guidance and training.

Conduct field and desktop biological surveys (special-status plants/wildlife, nesting birds, vernal pools), perform habitat assessments, provide construction monitoring, prepare biological reports and permit support, and supervise or review junior staff on moderately sized projects.

Lead and coordinate vegetation management field operations and contractor performance for utility right-of-way projects. Oversee scheduling, progress monitoring, safety compliance, emergency response, stakeholder and customer interactions, support VM inspectors, perform data review to resolve issues, and assist with agency meetings and project management tasks.

Perform field-based biological surveys and monitoring (special-status plants and wildlife, nesting birds, vernal pools, habitat assessments) and provide construction monitoring to ensure resource protection. Work includes multi-day field assignments, occasional desktop tasks, agency coordination, and use of standard field equipment and GIS tools.

Lead field vegetation management teams for utility right-of-way work: coordinate operations and scheduling, support inspectors, resolve customer and contractor issues, promote safety, perform inspections and reporting, liaise with clients and crews, and assist with agency meetings and program improvements.

Coordinate cultural/archaeological staff and tasks to meet deadlines: assign and track writing and reviews, submit records searches and fieldwork requests, reconcile trackers with Salesforce, ensure completion of California DPR 523 forms, assist leads and finalize tasks, complete writing as able, complete required trainings, and support safety and company policies. Some outside travel may be required.

Manage and maintain client vegetation-management databases, produce maps/reports, ensure data quality and integrity, coordinate and prioritize field work, provide technical support to field staff and planners, and implement data collection/reporting changes with clients.
