Leads utility vegetation management operations, contractor performance, field teams, scheduling, emergency response, safety compliance, and process improvement. Coordinates with PG&E representatives, supports inspectors and agency meetings, resolves customer access issues and database problems, and monitors equipment and vehicle conditions. The role requires outdoor fieldwork in rugged terrain, strong plant identification and invasive species knowledge, communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and relevant forestry, arboriculture, or environmental experience.

Provides day-to-day administrative support to field operations, including customer and vendor communication, invoice and timesheet processing, work request coordination, reporting, spreadsheet maintenance, credential tracking, office supply management, mail distribution, and project support. This temporary hybrid role runs through February 2027, requires 40 hours per week, and includes three onsite days and two remote days.

Perform field-based vegetation and hazard tree inspections for utility line clearance, plan contractor work, collect and validate tree data, enforce safety, interact with property owners and agencies, and maintain equipment and reporting accuracy.
