Operate hi-rail and other heavy equipment to support vegetation maintenance along railroad tracks; perform site inspections, traffic control, load/unload and secure equipment, routine maintenance, emergency response, and enforce safety/OSHA/FRA/ANSI Z133.1 practices while coordinating with customers and crew.

Manage and supervise tree trimming crews across Iowa, enforcing safety, quality, and union/HR policies. Train and coach staff, handle hiring/discipline, manage crew costs and production reporting, investigate incidents, maintain certifications, operate equipment, and respond to emergency/overnight call-outs.

Supervise and enforce field safety for tree trimming crews near energized power lines. Conduct inspections, incident investigations, training, job briefings, recordkeeping, emergency response, and ensure compliance with ANSI and OSHA standards. Provide coaching, stop unsafe work, and support DOT and drug-testing processes.

Supervise utility vegetation management crews to meet safety, quality, and financial goals. Train, coach, assign work, enforce procedures, maintain customer and agency relations, and ensure required certifications and licenses are current.

Enforce safety and regulatory compliance for tree-trimming crews, conduct site inspections and incident investigations, deliver training and briefings, maintain safety records and certifications, support emergency response, and coach crews to correct unsafe practices.

Oversees field safety for tree-trimming crews: enforces OSHA and company policies, conducts site inspections and trainings, investigates incidents, provides job briefings, coaches employees, maintains safety records and certifications, and responds to emergencies.

Supervise forepersons and crews for tree trimming/clearing near energized lines; enforce policies, safety, and union agreements; handle hiring/HR matters, training, accident investigations, cost control, reporting, customer relations, and equipment operation. Requires certifications (ISA, herbicide applicator, First-Aid/CPR), CDL and medical card, ability to work variable hours and travel up to 20%.

Supervise general forepersons and crews performing tree trimming/clearing near energized conductors. Manage hiring, discipline, safety training, records, crew costs, accident investigations, customer/utility communication, and ensure compliance with ANSI, OSHA, and company policies. Must perform physical fieldwork, wear PPE, travel up to 20%, and maintain required certifications.

Perform ground-based tree and brush removal: operate gasoline-powered chainsaws and wood chippers, load/unload trucks, apply herbicides, maintain equipment, set safety barriers, perform rescues, drive equipment, and follow safety and PPE requirements. Work outdoors in all weather, lift up to 50 lbs, and respond to emergency call-outs and overtime.

Performs tree trimming and removal by climbing or from ground, operates saws, chippers and trucks, sprays stumps, loads debris, repairs minor property damage, enforces safety, trains new hires, and maintains equipment. Must work in all weather, around energized lines and hazardous equipment, and complete required certifications and performance review.

Oversee multi-state division operations including sales, budgets, staffing, compliance, quality, and customer relations. Implement best practices, manage contracts and performance, drive profitability, and develop staff while ensuring regulatory and company policy adherence.
