Wingtra Benefits Overview

Own the product strategy and priorities for Wingtra’s surveying and mapping drone platform, including aircraft, sensors, workflows, and data deliverables. Conduct customer research, evaluate market and commercial opportunities, test ideas, guide engineering trade-offs, launch products with cross-functional teams, and track customer and business outcomes. The role requires a technical background, hardware and software product experience, commercial fluency, and regular travel to customers and partners in the US and Europe.

Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for aerial robotics customers and dealers across the US East Coast. Investigate drone hardware, payload, LiDAR, photogrammetry, flight-planning, and processing issues; review survey datasets; coordinate with engineering and partners; manage cases and RMAs; create troubleshooting documentation; and deliver dealer training, customer sessions, pilot projects, demos, and sales support.

Design and industrialize new aircraft platforms from concept through series production. Responsibilities include developing lightweight parts and assemblies, selecting materials and manufacturing processes, applying design-for-excellence principles, collaborating with suppliers, qualifying components, producing complete product documentation, and handing over production-ready lines. The role requires hands-on prototyping, testing, tolerance analysis, CAD design, injection molding, additive manufacturing, and disciplined qualification. Engineers are also expected to use AI for design exploration, qualification planning, and data analysis.
