Requires knowledge of IT controls, technology platforms, financial institution regulations, and computer-assisted audit techniques.

Provides digital banking support to members and staff, troubleshooting inquiries, documenting defects, monitoring resolutions, and communicating updates. Supports user acceptance testing, feature implementations, and ongoing digital product support. Translates technical concepts into clear guidance, promotes digital adoption, represents member feedback, and partners with development teams to resolve issues and improve digital experiences while adhering to banking compliance requirements.

Supports end-to-end IT audits, including planning, risk assessment, walkthroughs, testing, documentation, reporting, and quality review. Reviews staff workpapers, performs root-cause analysis, monitors project budgets and timelines, coaches auditors, and escalates risks. The role also supports forensic and continuous audits, uses data analytics and AI-enabled techniques, and evaluates technology risks, IT controls, security operations, change management, and application controls within a financial-institution environment.

Leads the enterprise accounting function, overseeing month-end close, general ledger governance, reconciliations, accounts payable, fixed assets, tax support, audits, internal controls, and financial reporting. Partners with Finance, Treasury, Risk, Operations, and business leaders on reliable financial information, mergers, acquisitions, and complex transactions. Modernizes accounting systems and workflows while building a high-performing accounting team and ensuring regulatory and control compliance.

Administer commercial real estate, commercial and industrial, construction, and participation loans from closing through servicing. Coordinate closings, vendors, documentation, construction draws, collateral perfection, covenant tracking, UCC filings, regulatory compliance, loan booking, and post-closing requirements. Serve commercial members, respond to account and servicing inquiries, monitor portfolio reports, audit booking accuracy, support training, and manage departmental projects while adhering to BSA and related regulations.

Markets and originates mortgage loans while independently developing referral relationships with realtors, builders, financial professionals, and other partners. Educates borrowers and referral sources on mortgage products, gathers documentation, uses automated underwriting tools, ensures regulatory compliance, and coordinates with members, underwriters, processors, and closers to meet closing timelines. Maintains marketplace visibility, monitors investor guidelines and market conditions, and participates in business development and professional development activities.

Maintain and audit complex general ledger and balance sheet accounts while supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closes. Perform reconciliations, journal entries, tax withholding payments, cash and loan account reviews, delinquency accrual adjustments, and regulatory reporting support. Assist with internal and external audits, train staff, document procedures, and improve accounting processes. The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, Excel expertise, accuracy, analytical skills, and collaboration across departments.
