Supervise day-shift production at a truss plant, leading supervisors, operators, and production employees. Manage workflow, scheduling, quality, costs, equipment concerns, safety compliance, training, performance reviews, and employee discipline. Ensure production objectives are met efficiently and safely while maintaining communication with management and staff. Serve as acting Truss Plant Manager when needed.

Sells lumber and building materials to builders and remodelers in the Athens and Decatur region. Manages customer relationships, conducts job-site visits, prepares material estimates and take-offs, interprets blueprints, develops new business, negotiates sales, and oversees orders from quoting through fulfillment. Uses BisTrack and other CRM or ERP tools to track activity, manage accounts, and forecast opportunities. The role requires frequent travel, construction-material knowledge, autonomy, and collaboration with inside and counter sales teams.

Identifies, prospects, qualifies, and develops new Commercial and Multifamily business opportunities across North Alabama and the Southeast. Builds relationships with contractors, developers, architects, property owners, and other decision-makers; manages target-account pipelines; conducts meetings and site visits; supports discovery, quoting, and first-order conversion; coordinates pursuits with sales, estimating, and operations teams; and transitions qualified opportunities for long-term account management.
