Accounting intern supporting transaction entry, month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly reporting, file maintenance, internal controls, workflow improvements, and revenue and lease accounting analysis under ASC 606 and ASC 842. The intern will assist with accounting and operations projects, learn daily accounting practices, and present internship outcomes to management.

Supports commercial operations for a natural gas midstream business through agreement documentation, pipeline scheduling, business systems, data quality, reporting, and process improvement. The intern assists with commercial agreements, customer coordination, Quorum pipeline applications, data integrity reviews, requirements gathering, process mapping, testing, and operational reporting. This is a full-time, in-office internship in Austin with opportunities to participate in training, team meetings, and field visits.

Supports a natural gas trading desk through daily supply-and-demand reporting, data integrity monitoring, quantitative modeling, back-testing, scenario analysis, and data pipeline automation. The role partners with traders, data scientists, and strategists to identify trading signals, improve reporting tools, analyze market events, and document methodologies. Candidates need quantitative education, SQL and Python skills, commodity-market interest, strong communication, and attention to detail. This is an in-office position in Austin.
