Recruit and develop the team, establish editorial and visual standards, manage publishing calendars and capacity planning, oversee the transition from external suppliers, and deliver print and digital resources on schedule and within budget. The role also manages freelancers and suppliers while partnering with curriculum specialists to ensure accuracy and quality.

Lead hands-on design for print and digital educational publishing resources. Create templates, grids, type styles, asset libraries, and design standards; manage print-ready artwork, pre-press, proofing, color, and printer liaison. Brief freelance creatives, ensure accessible and learning-focused design, and collaborate with editors and subject specialists to meet fixed publishing deadlines. The role may grow into people leadership as the publishing department expands.

Leads the development and continuous improvement of White Rose Education’s mixed-age primary mathematics curriculum, resources, assessments and professional development. The role applies substantial primary maths teaching expertise to curriculum sequencing, resource creation, quality assurance, school collaboration and teacher training. It also involves mentoring and line managing team members, deputising for the Head of Primary Maths, and representing the organisation through webinars, conferences and professional networks.

Own a portfolio of customers, leading onboarding, monitoring engagement and customer health, resolving queries, and proactively addressing retention risks. Build trusted relationships, support renewals and repeat business, analyze feedback and customer data, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with Sales, Product, Operations, and Finance to improve customer outcomes.
