Provides practical nursing care for adults with visual, intellectual, developmental, and complex medical needs in a residential respite setting. Responsibilities include medication administration, health monitoring, treatments, documentation, emergency response, care coordination, staff guidance, participant advocacy, and regulatory compliance. The LPN supports independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life across daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Provides person-centered respite and direct support to adults with blindness, visual impairments, and additional disabilities. Assists with personal care, daily living, mobility, recreation, community engagement, household tasks, independent living skills, and emergency procedures. Documents participant activities and concerns, communicates with families and care teams, and promotes safety, dignity, independence, inclusion, and meaningful participation across day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Provides day-to-day administrative support to Human Resources, including scheduling, correspondence, recordkeeping, data entry, onboarding, employee assistance, HR system maintenance, and confidential information handling. Supports attendance reporting, absence management, substitute coordination, staffing communications, and coverage documentation without making staffing decisions. Requires strong organization, communication, accuracy, confidentiality, technology skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Provide direct instructional, behavioral, and personal support to students with visual impairments. Supervise students, assist with personal care, implement IEPs and behavior plans, adapt materials, collect data, collaborate with teachers and therapists, and maintain safety and classroom documentation.

Assess, design, implement, and monitor behavior interventions (PBSPs) for students with visual impairments and other disabilities. Support classroom staff and families, participate in IEPs and Human Rights meetings, coordinate consultations, provide crisis intervention, train staff (Mandt System), and maintain compliant documentation to promote positive student outcomes.

Provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, counseling, behavioral supports, and consultation for students who are blind/visually impaired. Participate in IEP teams, conduct FBAs/BIPs, train staff, ensure compliance with IDEA and state regulations, and maintain documentation.

Provide direct nursing care and health coordination for students with visual impairments and multiple disabilities during evening shift. Assess, triage, administer medications and treatments, manage chronic conditions, respond to emergencies, train staff, maintain confidential records, and liaise with families and healthcare providers.

Provide safe enteral feedings (G/GJ/J tubes) to students during the school day, monitor tolerance, troubleshoot pumps, document care in SNAP, communicate with families and interdisciplinary team, and follow infection prevention and emergency procedures.

The Dietary Assistant is responsible for washing dishes, preparing snacks, servicing dietary needs of students and staff, operating a cash register, and performing general cleaning.
