Performs supplier quality engineering through inspection, metrology, statistical analysis, nonconforming material control, first-article inspections, drawing and ECO reviews, and continuous improvement. Supports supplier selection, evaluation, development, and quality performance metrics; trains team members in quality tools and metrology; develops inspection equipment and procedures; and collaborates with product development, procurement, receiving, and quality teams. Requires travel to foreign suppliers two to four times annually.

Leads enterprise-wide Lean Office and continuous improvement initiatives, establishing operating cadences, performance measures, process standards, and sustained improvement systems. Partners with Operations and functional leaders to improve workflows using process mapping, value stream mapping, A3, Kaizen, root cause analysis, and Six Sigma methods. Maintains the CI toolkit and knowledge base, measures project outcomes, facilitates training, and builds internal capability across manufacturing and office environments.

Manages sales activities across the Sacramento and Fresno territory, pursuing opportunities with education, performing arts, construction, and facility customers. Responsibilities include developing territory strategies, managing CRM updates, reviewing bids, consulting on solutions, presenting accredited courses, coordinating internal sales efforts, maintaining customer and opportunity databases, and achieving sales, pricing, margin, and KPI goals.

Oversee and coordinate product design projects from planning through completion. Review drawings, materials, BOMs, and design standards; develop 2D and 3D models; interpret architectural and mechanical blueprints; perform engineering calculations; resolve technical issues with Engineering and Production; and maintain project documentation, schedules, and scope. Serve as the primary design liaison among Sales, Project Management, Manufacturing, Installation, and other departments.

Design and develop theatrical stage products by defining requirements, creating CAD models, performing strength/FEA calculations, overseeing validation testing, supporting prototyping and manufacturability, and leading cross-functional project teams to deliver product improvements and cost reductions.

Design and develop structural/mechanical solutions for theatrical stage systems using CAD and 3D solids modeling. Interpret drawings, perform stress and weight calculations, coordinate with Production and Sales, maintain project documentation, and act as the project point person to ensure timely execution.

Lead planning, coordination, and execution of trade shows, conferences, and customer-facing events. Manage event budgets, vendors, logistics, exhibit inventory, event technology, and cross-functional communication. Support sales and marketing objectives, track event ROI, maintain event systems, and supervise the conventions/event support team.

Supervise daily procurement operations, lead and train procurement staff, manage supplier selection and performance, support cost-reduction and negotiations, oversee purchase order accuracy and compliance, collaborate with operations/engineering/finance, monitor inventory and supply continuity, and implement process improvements and procurement reporting.

Lead new product development and improvement projects by defining requirements, creating CAD models, performing strength/FEA analyses, overseeing testing and prototyping, coordinating cross-functional teams, and supporting manufacturability and documentation.

Process full-cycle accounts payable: receive, code, reconcile, and pay vendor invoices; run weekly check/EFT/ACH/wire payments; reconcile vendor statements; maintain AP records and master files; support month/quarter/year-end close, 1099 preparation, and AP-to-GL reconciliation; communicate with vendors and internal teams and improve AP processes.

Lead new product development, product improvement, and cost-reduction projects. Define customer and product requirements, lead multifunctional teams, perform CAD modeling and strength/stress analysis (FEA), oversee design validation, testing, DFMEA/DFM, prototype and preproduction support, develop engineering specifications, and provide technical documentation and manufacturing support.

Design, develop, program, test, calibrate, and maintain theatrical automation systems and embedded control hardware/software. Troubleshoot and repair equipment, produce wiring diagrams and control panels, manage automation projects, provide on-site installation support and training, and apply safety standards to improve theatrical performance automation.

Drive territory sales for educational and performance facility products by managing opportunities in a multi-state territory, cultivating relationships with district administrators, architects, contractors, and end users, using CRM (Salesforce), planning sales trips, presenting solutions and AIA courses, pursuing new business, and coordinating internally to meet KPIs and margin goals.

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage and PO accuracy; tag, distribute, and store materials; replenish shop stock; update the receiving system; initiate corrective actions for nonconformities; perform weekly cycle counts; safely unload carriers and operate material-handling equipment (forklift/crane) as needed.
