Performs project cost accounting, inventory and job valuation, standard costing, variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, monthly close activities, reconciliations, and audit support. Partners with manufacturing and project management teams on project budgets, cost-to-complete reviews, change orders, financial reporting, risk mitigation, and internal controls. Supports sales and use tax accuracy, inventory processes, and continuous improvements in accounting and reporting.

The Project Cost Accountant analyzes project, inventory, and product costs; maintains standard costing; investigates variances; supports budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, audits, tax filings, inventory processes, and internal controls. The role partners with manufacturing and project management teams, provides financial guidance, supports project accounting and change orders, and drives improvements in accounting and reporting accuracy.

Supports regional sales teams and customers through quote preparation, product support, order processing, order maintenance, web request management, lead follow-up, bid coordination, project support, and post-order communication. The role ensures accurate information flow, timely fulfillment, and smooth transitions between sales, customers, and internal project teams in a structured hybrid environment.
