Lead strategic and operational performance across Wellways’ Melbourne mental health and community services portfolio. The role oversees multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed teams, develops leaders, manages financial performance, governance, risk and resources, and drives service improvement, innovation and growth. The Senior Manager builds partnerships with government, community and sector stakeholders while championing participant voice, lived experience, inclusion and cultural safety. Regular travel across Melbourne services and strong community visibility are required.

Facilitate structured peer-support groups for current and former carers, using lived experience, recovery principles and the CHIME framework. Create safe, inclusive spaces where participants can build confidence, wellbeing and connection. Deliver programs for young and adult carers, covering stress management, communication, navigating NDIS and My Aged Care, identity and personal wellbeing. The role requires relevant support qualifications or community-sector experience, required checks and a valid Australian driving licence.

Supports national marketing and communications campaigns, content, brand initiatives, and asset rollouts. Coordinates internal and external stakeholders, produces content for traditional and digital channels, and helps strengthen organisational awareness, engagement, and reputation. The role collaborates with marketing leaders, subject experts, participants, and people with lived experience within a purpose-driven mental health organisation.

Provide culturally safe, strengths-based peer support to First Nations people experiencing mental health challenges, psychological distress, substance use, or addiction. Use lived experience, cultural knowledge, and recovery insights to build trust, facilitate groups, manage caseloads, support care planning, develop everyday skills, and connect participants with services, culture, and community.

Lead strategic and operational delivery across Wellways’ Northern Victoria mental health and wellbeing portfolio. The role oversees diverse services, develops leaders, strengthens government and community partnerships, drives innovation and service improvement, and manages financial performance, governance, risk and resources. The leader must champion participant voice, lived experience, inclusion and cultural safety while maintaining strong local connections across metropolitan, regional and rural communities. Regular regional travel and visible leadership are essential.

Lead strategic and operational delivery across Wellways’ Western Victoria mental health and wellbeing services. Build partnerships with government, health and community stakeholders; develop leaders; drive service innovation, growth and continuous improvement; champion participant voice and lived experience; and oversee financial performance, governance, risk and resources across a geographically dispersed portfolio.

Manages day-to-day relationships and contract matters for a portfolio of Carer Gateway partners. The role provides specialist partnership support, promotes collaboration, resolves issues, and seeks positive outcomes for partners, carers, and the broader community. Responsibilities require stakeholder engagement, contract management, strong communication, understanding of mental health and disability services, and occasional travel.

Provides non-clinical psychosocial support to people recovering after suicide attempts. Conducts intake and assessments, develops safety and support plans, delivers practical assistance, supports families, connects participants with services, and builds community and social connections during the first three months after a crisis.
