Lead Wellways’ ACT regional mental health and disability services portfolio, providing strategic and operational oversight across programs, budgets, compliance, service quality and growth. Build trusted government and community partnerships, strengthen service integration, support leaders through change, and foster an inclusive, participant-centred culture focused on sustainable outcomes and continuous improvement. Regular regional travel and visible community leadership are essential.

Lead strategic and operational performance across Wellways’ Melbourne mental health and community services portfolio. The role oversees multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed teams, develops leaders, manages financial performance, governance, risk and resources, and drives service improvement, innovation and growth. The Senior Manager builds partnerships with government, community and sector stakeholders while championing participant voice, lived experience, inclusion and cultural safety. Regular travel across Melbourne services and strong community visibility are required.

Facilitate structured peer-support groups for current and former carers, using lived experience, recovery principles and the CHIME framework. Create safe, inclusive spaces where participants can build confidence, wellbeing and connection. Deliver programs for young and adult carers, covering stress management, communication, navigating NDIS and My Aged Care, identity and personal wellbeing. The role requires relevant support qualifications or community-sector experience, required checks and a valid Australian driving licence.
