Manage and implement hospital donation programs by building relationships, developing strategic plans, coordinating referrals and recoveries, providing education, ensuring CMS and AOPO compliance, conducting medical record reviews, and driving process improvements to maximize organ and tissue donation opportunities.

Provides administrative support to Clinical Services leadership: scheduling interviews and self-scheduling, coordinating travel, meetings, vendors, and facilities; maintaining Medical Director schedule, meeting minutes, supplies inventory, data entry, correspondence, and monthly satellite office rounds. Serves as back-up to front desk and supports special projects.

Oversee daily operations of organ perfusion services, ensure regulatory compliance, manage staff training and performance, develop policies/procedures, monitor financial and operational performance, collaborate with clinical and external partners, participate in on-call rotations, and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Lead and manage the IT department, ensuring reliable infrastructure, security, vendor relationships, and IT support. Plan and execute projects, maintain systems and DR, mentor staff, enforce policies, and align IT strategy with business objectives.

Provide administrative support to Office Manager, leadership, and operations teams. Manage fleet and contract databases, coordinate travel and hotel accommodations, schedule meetings, prepare minutes and correspondence, assist with facilities and conference room setup, perform general office duties, and back up front desk as needed.

Coordinate donor referrals and organ allocation using EMR and UNET, document donor data, monitor perfusion, facilitate organ/team transport, and support communication across shifts.

Responds to donor referrals, conducts on-site clinical and medical assessments, initiates donor management and organ allocation, coordinates surgical recovery, documents all activity in EMR/iTransplant, and serves as hospital resource for donation. Accepts on-call duties and supports hospital development and education.

Lead and deliver clinical training and onboarding for organ donation staff, provide in-field coaching and evaluations, develop training materials and competency programs, coordinate preceptor programs, support process improvement and regulatory compliance, and participate in donor committee and professional organization activities.

Lead full-cycle recruiting and sourcing, develop and execute recruiting strategies, engage managers and community partners, coordinate interviews and pre-hire checks, track recruiting KPIs, support DE&I initiatives, and maintain candidate experience and employer branding.

Lead and administer hospital donation services programs, develop goals and documentation, maintain hospital relationships, ensure timely referrals and compliance with AOPO/CMS, conduct medical record reviews and trend referral/consent processes, provide education and resolve operational issues.

Respond to and evaluate potential organ donors, manage donor care and logistics, obtain informed consent, complete medical record reviews, coordinate organ placement and recovery per OPTN/UNOS/AOPO/CMS/CDC guidelines, and support hospital education and data quality for the donation process.

Perform and oversee abdominal organ recoveries for transplant, research, and therapy; coordinate with transplant centers and intraoperative teams; maintain recovery quality, develop policies, train staff, participate in quality improvement and advisory committees, and represent SHSC at meetings.

Develops and executes statewide community education and outreach to raise organ and tissue donation awareness. Coordinates events, manages volunteers and campus programs, creates and edits communications and promotional materials, supports social media partnerships, assists with photography, and contributes to volunteer training and multicultural outreach campaigns.

Provide hands-on surgical support during organ recovery and preservation, including sterile field setup, scrubbing for procurement, managing preservation/pulsatile machines, packaging organs/specimens, maintaining equipment and documentation, assisting with transport, and supporting education and outreach efforts.

Lead and manage the BI team to develop and deploy BI strategies, dashboards, and analytical models. Ensure data quality, governance, integration, and actionable insights; partner with stakeholders to translate needs into BI solutions and support organizational reporting and process improvements.
