WCB-Alberta Benefits Overview

Leads risk-focused internal audit and advisory engagements for WCB-Alberta. Assesses governance, risks, business processes, and internal controls; analyzes information; develops practical recommendations; manages audit timelines, budgets, and quality; communicates findings to stakeholders; and supports the Chief Internal Auditor, Audit Committee, and senior management. The role requires collaboration across business areas and coordination with external assurance professionals.

Coordinates and manages capital and operating building-operations projects from planning through completion. Responsibilities include project documentation, PM framework development, contractor and supplier coordination, procurement support, financial tracking, forecasting, audits, reporting, and coaching project teams. The role also supports compliance with security guidelines and manages project assets, schedules, risks, and lessons learned.

Provides application and cloud operations support, including software installation, troubleshooting, testing, scripting, packaging, deployment, vulnerability management, documentation, and environment administration. Supports Windows and cloud systems, resolves technical issues, coordinates with the service desk, contributes to technology projects, mentors team members, and maintains assigned on-premises applications. Participates in on-call emergency support and may coordinate short-term technology initiatives.
